(1 Dec 2009) U.S. Chamber – “While we agree that the financial crisis exposed failures in consumer protection regulation that need to be addressed, we are concerned this bill would do far more harm than good – for consumers, for the business community, and for the overall economy.
I, a new small business owner, wholeheartedly agree that CFPA needs to be stopped.

Help us out here! More and more people are getting laid off and there is no hope in sight! We need to create more jobs for Montanans and stop making the healthcare providers and insurance companies rich! Premiums, deductibles, and coinsurance go up, up, up. It’s so bad now, most people can’t afford it. So they go without insurance. Then the people with insurance have to pay more, because of the people without insurance. You don’t think the insurance company is going to bite the difference do you? The collectors keep coming. Retirement savings are a thing of the past.
